One of the Kassam rockets exploded outside the western Negev’s Sapir Academic College, lightly wounding a female student. The second rocket landed near a Sderot school, causing several people to suffer shock and damaging a number of cars in the vicinity.

Another rocket landed in an open area near a western Negev kibbutz. No one was wounded and no damage was reported.

Magen David Adom medics treated the victim at the scene before evacuating her to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attacks.
